  • We're happy to try and accommodate your request whenever possible. In instances where we have another guest either departing or arriving on the same day as your reservation, we need the entire window of time to prepare the home for the next guest, thus making it difficult to fulfill your request.

    Nevertheless, if circumstances allow, we provide a complimentary one-hour extension, with the option to extend further for a fee of $30 per hour, up to a total of two extra hours (three hours in total). We can confirm the availability of these extensions 24 hours prior to your arrival, so please don't hesitate to inquire with our guest services team.

    Should you require more than three additional hours, we recommend reserving the night before or after your intended stay to ensure a flexible arrival time that suits your needs.

  • Airbnb guests are exempt from the additional screening, as Airbnb does this for us!

    The vacation rental industry is quickly becoming one of the most popular ways to travel. Unfortunately, there are going to be people out there who take advantage of the absence of a lobby concierge, and an uptick in burglary and damage has been a trend. We want to ensure that we not only have a safe community for our guests, but that we protect our homes.

    We’ve partnered with a 3rd party (Safely) to conduct guest screening. You will be asked to provide a photo of your ID, as well as a selfie confirming that you match the ID on the reservation. It takes 5 minutes, and give everyone peace of mind!

  • Similar to hotels, we kindly ask our guests to register all members of their party and any vehicles they plan to park on the property. This registration process assists us in identifying both our guests and authorized vehicles allowed on-site. This is also required for us to comply with short term rental permits and meet insurance requirements.

  • Accidents are a part of life, and we understand that. We don't believe in nitpicking over minor mishaps like a broken dish. Just let our team know, and we'll take care of replacing or repairing the item for you. Plus, your reservation includes a damage waiver, ensuring that the cost is covered. It's as straightforward as that!

  • Item deOur dedicated turnover team consists of skilled cleaners, inspectors, and hot tub/pool maintenance staff. In addition to thorough cleaning, our team also:

    • Sanitizes high-touch surfaces

    • Launder and dry all linens and towels

    • Restocks soaps, paper goods, amenities, and welcome basket treats

    • Handles dishwashing

    • Disposes of garbage

    • Ensures the cleanliness of the hot tub or pool

  • Of course! We will ship most items directly to you. We charge a $30 fee for our time, plus shipping fees.

  • In addition to the cancellation policies outlined in each listing, we encourage our guests to consider purchasing travel insurance for added protection. We recognize that unforeseen circumstances may arise, hindering travel plans beyond our control. Securing travel insurance offers peace of mind in such situations. Upon confirmation of your booking, you'll receive a link providing the option to purchase travel insurance.

  • For Underwood Hideaway, we charge an additional guest fee for parties over 8, with a maximum of 13 guests, to maintain affordability for smaller groups while accommodating larger ones. This pricing structure ensures that smaller groups can enjoy our home at a more accessible rate, while the additional fees for larger groups help cover the extra costs associated with increased usage of amenities and utilities. This way, we can provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests.
